Your own newsletter, without a second list.
Write a campaign or let Alori draft it, then send it to everyone, a list built from your tags, or people you pick. Results show who opened and clicked.
- Resend to the people who did not open.
- Every campaign has an unsubscribe link.
- Send it from your own domain.
Every client call, turned into tasks.
Record a video meeting in Alori. When it ends, you get the transcript and a summary with next steps, and each step can become a task in the client's project.
- Ask questions about what a client said.
- See the project's tasks on a board.
- Link the quote and invoices to the project.
Change it by asking.
Your app isn’t frozen on day one. Write what you need, the way you’d text it. Alori makes the change and shows you before anything goes live.

- Make a list of everyone who clicked in the October newsletter
- Show me proposals with no answer after 5 days

Everything above, in detail: how it works, what it replaces and what it does not.
A CRM for marketing consultants who sell their own work too
Short answer: Alori is the all-in-one app for solo and small marketing consultants. It works as a CRM for marketing consultants: leads move through a pipeline, proposals go out as quotes the client signs online, each engagement runs as a project with its tasks, your own newsletter goes out as an email campaign, client calls are recorded with notes, and invoices get paid by card. You set it up by describing your business, then change it by asking in plain words.
A week as a marketing consultant
Monday you run a strategy call for one client and a campaign review for another. A referral emails about a website relaunch. You write the proposal in Google Docs, send it, and forget to follow up. Your own newsletter has not gone out in two months, because the list lives in another tool and the last export is out of date.
Most solo consultants and small teams of 2 to 10 juggle the same stack:
- A spreadsheet or a free CRM for leads
- Google Docs for proposals, and email to chase them
- A project tool for each client's deliverables
- A newsletter tool with its own copy of your contact list
- A video call app, notes in a doc, and another app for invoices
Each tool works on its own. The cost is the copying between them, and the lead who went cold because the follow up lived in your head.
What Alori gives a marketing consultant
Leads in a pipeline. Every new lead becomes a deal on a board, at stages you name, like Intro call, Proposal sent, Signed and Active. Requests from your Alori website land there on their own, and forms on another site, Facebook and Instagram lead ads, Zapier or Google Ads can send leads in too. A deal can carry its lines, including monthly ones, and Alori adds up the monthly and yearly value. See deals.
Proposals signed online, as quotes. Send your proposal as a quote with its lines and prices, like a strategy sprint or a monthly content package. The client opens the link, types their name, signs and clicks Accept and sign. Alori can follow up on its own when a quote waits too long. See quotes.
Projects for each engagement. Start a project for the client, keep the tasks Alori suggests, and add your own with owners and due dates. Link the quote and invoices to the project. See the tasks on a board when you want to see what is stuck. See tasks.
Your own newsletter, from the same list. Write a campaign, or let Alori write a first draft, and send it to everyone, to a list built from your tags, or to people you pick. You see who opened and clicked, and can resend to people who did not open. Every campaign has an unsubscribe link, and people who unsubscribe are left out after that. Send it from your own domain. See email campaigns.
Client calls recorded, with notes. Hold a video meeting in Alori and keep Record on. When it ends, Alori writes the transcript and a summary with next steps. Click a next step to make it a task. See meeting notes to tasks.
Invoices paid by card. Make an invoice for a fixed fee, email it with a link to pay by card, and it turns Paid by itself. Unpaid invoice reminders can go out on the schedule you pick.
Unlimited users. A contractor or an assistant gets their own login at no extra cost. See pricing.
What is coming soon
These are not in Alori yet. Do not plan around them today:
- Time tracking to invoice and retainers. See time and billing. Today, bill fixed fees or set amounts.
- A content approval calendar for clients to approve posts.
- A client portal where clients log in to see their work.
Alori also does not post to social networks or run your clients' ads. It runs your own business.
How to start
- Describe your business. Type a few words, like "marketing consultant, small business clients, strategy, content and email". Alori builds your app with the tools that fit.
- Import your contacts. Paste a list from a spreadsheet or an email into Ask Alori and it adds them. If you use HubSpot, you can move your records over.
- Invite your team. Each person gets an invitation email and their own login.

Questions
Another question? Ask it when you start.
For running your own consulting business, yes: leads, signed proposals, client projects, your newsletter, recorded calls and invoices sit in one app, with one list of contacts.
Yes. Email campaigns send to everyone, a list or chosen people, with results per person, an unsubscribe link in every email and your own domain if you want. Each email uses credits. Only send to people who agreed to get your emails.
Campaigns go to the contacts in your own app, from your business. Alori is built to run your business, not as a tool to manage your clients' email lists.
Not as automatic recurring billing yet. Time tracking to invoice and retainers are coming soon. Today, send a fixed invoice each month, and clients pay by card through Stripe. Card payments are in Canadian dollars for now.
