Terms of service

Last updated: October 14, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and InputKit, the operator of Alori ("Alori", "we", "us"). They apply when you use alori.dev, build apps with Alori, or use an app built with Alori as a member of a business's team. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you use Alori for a business, you accept them on behalf of that business.

The service

Alori builds, hosts and updates software apps for your business from what you describe in chat. Your apps include a public website and a team app, and can include features such as customers, quotes, scheduling, jobs, invoices, email and text messages. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a contract.
  • Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your team's accounts.
  • You can try Alori as a guest. Guest projects may be deleted if you do not save them to an account.
  • Tell us right away at support@alori.dev if you think someone has used your account without permission.

Plans, credits and billing

  • Building and changing apps, and some features such as sending email or text messages, use credits. The cost of each action is shown in the product or on the pricing page.
  • Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from billing settings; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • Credits included in a plan expire one month after the end of the billing month they belong to. Purchased credit packs follow the terms shown at purchase.
  • Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes unless stated. Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Except where the law requires otherwise, payments and used credits are not refundable.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The change applies at your next renewal.

Your content

You own what you bring to Alori and what you build with it: your prompts, business information, the records in your apps, and the code generated for your apps ("your content"). You give us the permission we need to host, copy, process and display your content to run and improve the service for you, and to send it to the providers that help us run it (listed in our privacy policy).

You are responsible for your content and for having the rights and consents it requires, including your customers' consent to receive the emails and text messages your team sends from your apps. For your customers' personal information, you are in charge of it and we process it on your behalf.

AI output

Alori uses AI models to plan and write code, website text and other content. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review your apps, prices, quotes, invoices and public pages before you rely on them or share them with customers. You are responsible for how you use the output.

Connected services

Your apps can connect to services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Stripe and Twilio. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. When you connect a Google account, our use of its data follows our privacy policy and the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use Alori to:

  • break the law or anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
  • send spam, or email or text people who have not agreed to hear from you;
  • build apps for fraud, phishing, malware, or harmful or illegal content;
  • try to get into accounts, apps or systems that are not yours, or test, probe or overload the service without our written permission;
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer the Alori platform itself, except as the law allows;
  • get around credit limits, usage limits or security measures.

We may suspend or remove content, apps or accounts that break these rules.

Our platform

Alori, its platform, templates, modules and brand belong to InputKit. Except for your content, these terms do not give you any rights in them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Alori and your apps running, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance, and we may update the parts of your apps that Alori manages (such as sign-in, email and hosting code) to keep them secure and working.

Ending your use

You can stop using Alori and delete your apps or account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, do not pay, or if we must for legal reasons. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to export your data first. After your account ends, we delete your data as described in our privacy policy.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Alori is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold Alori harmless from claims that arise from your content, your apps, or your breach of these terms or the law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of the district of Montréal, Québec, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell you by email or in the product at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Alori after that, you accept the new terms.
