Alori Personal Assistant: our web agent

Short answer: Alori Personal Assistant (shown to people as "Mila") is an AI assistant that uses a web browser on behalf of one signed-in Alori user, only when that user asks it to do something. It is not a crawler. It signs every request with Web Bot Auth, so sites can tell it apart from other traffic.

What it does

An Alori user asks their assistant to do a task for them, such as ordering lunch, booking a ride, finding a flight or a hotel, or looking up information. The assistant opens the sites needed for that one task, in a browser that belongs to that user, and stops when the task is done.

  • One person at a time. Each browser belongs to one user, with their own sign-ins.
  • Only on request. It browses because a person asked; it does not crawl, index or scan sites on its own.
  • Asks first. Before anything that commits (a purchase, a booking, a form submission, a sign-up, a deletion), it pauses and the user approves or declines.
  • Never handles secrets. It does not type passwords, payment card numbers or one-time codes. The user does those themselves in their own view of the browser.
  • Doesn't solve challenges. When a site shows a captcha or a bot check, the user handles it, or the site lets the signed agent through.
  • No training. Pages it reads are used to answer the user's request, not to train AI models.
  • Light traffic. It loads pages at a person's pace, one task at a time.

How to recognize it

Every request carries an HTTP Message Signature (Web Bot Auth):

Its traffic comes from Alori's servers on DigitalOcean (Toronto region).
