Dispatch software that shows who is free and gives each tech a clear day

Short answer: Alori is dispatch software built into the all-in-one app for service businesses. You schedule a visit in a few clicks and see who is free, booked or on leave. Accepted quotes wait in a To schedule list until you drag them onto the calendar. Each technician sees their day on their phone, with the address, gate code, checklist and one button for the next step. Customers can get an "on the way" text on their own.

The problem: the schedule lives in the dispatcher's head

In many shops, dispatch is a whiteboard, a shared calendar and a lot of phone calls. The office books a job without knowing a tech is on leave. A tech drives to the wrong address because the note was in a text. An accepted quote sits in an inbox for a week because nobody put it on the calendar.

Dispatch software fixes this when the schedule, the jobs, the quotes and the customer details are in one place, and the tech's phone shows exactly what to do next.

How dispatch works in Alori

1. See the team at a glance. Open Schedule and tick the people you want in the Calendars column. Switch to Day and each person gets a column with their visits and hours. Each person has their own color.

2. Book a visit. Click an empty time, or drag across free time. Pick the customer and the job; customers with an accepted quote show first. Under Who is going, each teammate shows Free, Already booked at a time, or On leave. Someone on leave cannot be picked. Click Schedule, then Write to the customer to confirm in one tap.

3. Never lose an accepted quote. Accepted quotes with no date wait in To schedule. Drag a card onto the calendar, or drop it in a teammate's column to give it to them. The job takes the quote's price and usual length.

4. Move things around. Drag a visit to a new time or into another tech's column. Drag its bottom edge to make it longer or shorter. Each move shows Undo. If a tech now has two visits at once, Alori tells you.

5. Give each tech a clear day. On their phone, the technician's dashboard shows how many stops they have, the job happening now, and the next stops in order, with Directions and Call. One tap opens the job with the address, gate code, customer notes, the To do checklist and photos. One button moves the job forward: On the way, Start, Finish, then Invoice if their role can bill.

Send a crew. On a bigger job, pick the lead under Crew and tap the teammates going with them. When the job starts, everyone on it is clocked in, and the hours land on their timesheet for payroll. See jobs.

6. Keep the customer in the loop. Turn on Technician on the way in Settings › Automatic messages, and the customer gets a text when the job turns On the way. Appointment confirmation sends a message a minute after you schedule.

7. Ask instead of clicking. Tell Ask Alori "Give the Chen job to Luis" or "Schedule the Gagnon furnace repair Tuesday at 9 with Julie". Or ask your bot for an automation like "Every morning, text each technician their jobs for the day."

Control what each tech sees

Roles decide what a technician sees. With See only their own jobs on, a tech sees only the jobs given to them and cannot schedule or assign. With See prices and amounts off, they see no prices or totals. Techs who connect Google Calendar can have their jobs added to it, and moves follow.

Alori does not do route optimization or live GPS tracking today. You place the visits; Alori keeps everyone on the same page.

FAQ

Is Alori good HVAC dispatch software? For small and mid-size shops, yes: book by technician, see who is free, drag jobs between techs, and give each tech their day on their phone. Every plan has unlimited users, so every tech gets a login.

Can technicians see only their own jobs? Yes. Turn on See only their own jobs for their role. They see the jobs assigned to them, and you can hide prices too.

Does Alori optimize routes? No. Alori shows each tech's stops in order with directions, but it does not plan routes or track trucks by GPS.

Does the schedule sync with Google Calendar? Yes. Each person can connect Google or Outlook so their busy times are never offered for online booking, and with Google, their jobs can be added to their calendar.
