An AI chatbot for your website that knows your business

Short answer: Alori gives you an AI chatbot for your website that answers visitors from your own price list, services, hours and help center articles. When it cannot answer, or a visitor wants a person or a quote, it hands the chat to your team with the reason. Every chat lands in your shared inbox, and a visitor who leaves their details becomes a customer in your CRM.

The problem: questions arrive when nobody is at the desk

Visitors land on your website at night and on weekends. They want to know if you serve their area, how much a visit costs, or how to book. A contact form makes them wait. A generic chatbot gives vague answers or makes things up, and the leads it collects sit in yet another dashboard.

A useful website chatbot answers from what is true about your business, admits when it does not know, and puts the conversation where your team already works.

How it works in Alori

1. Turn on the chat. In your CRM, open Front desk and turn on Chat bubble on your website. Visitors see Chat with us at the bottom of every page. Your website is on another platform, like WordPress or Wix? Copy one line from Front desk and paste it on that site: the same chat and bot show there.

2. Make it yours. Give the bot a name, a photo and a first message. Add up to three common questions visitors can tap, like "Can I book a visit?".

3. Choose who answers. In Front desk › Settings, under Who answers, pick (the website chat and your support email each keep their own choice):

  • Bot answers first: it hands the chat to you when it cannot answer. This is the default.
  • You first, bot as backup: the bot answers when nobody replies within 2 minutes.
  • Only you: the bot writes a suggested answer for your team.

4. Get handed the chats that need you. A chat the bot passes on goes under New messages in Conversations, with a reason like The bot didn't know the answer, They asked for a person, Urgent, Wants a quote or Unhappy customer. The bell rings and the owner gets an email. The bot's suggested answer is already in the reply box.

5. Take over and give it back. Click Take over and write to the visitor yourself. If they left your website, your answer goes by text or email. When you are done, click Give back to the bot.

6. Watch how it does. Front desk shows how many chats came in this week and how many the bot answered. After you close a chat, the visitor can rate it from 1 to 5 stars, and Ratings shows the average for the bot and for each teammate.

Where its answers come from

The bot answers from four places you control:

  • Your price list, so it can quote your real prices.
  • Your services and hours.
  • Your published help center articles. It searches them first for how-to questions and links the article.
  • The facts in Company memory that you mark Customers can know this. Facts kept for the office or the owner are never shared.

It also learns from your team. When you answer a chat it passed on, it keeps the lasting fact for next time, with an Undo. And if a visitor asks, it says it is an AI assistant.

Want to know what to write next? Ask Alori "What do my customers ask most?" It reads your emails, texts, website chats and call summaries, without names, and can write help articles for the top questions.

Who it is for

Businesses that get questions before the sale: HVAC companies, plumbers, SaaS companies with a help center, and anyone tired of answering the same five questions. See the website chat page, or the website app if you do not have a site yet.

What you need

  • Front desk in your app (ask Alori "Add the Front desk").
  • A price list, and a few help center articles for the questions you hear most.
  • Credits: the bot uses credits when it answers visitors. See pricing.

FAQ

Will the chatbot make up answers? It answers from your price list, services, hours, published help articles and the Company memory facts you allow. When it does not know, it hands the chat to your team instead of guessing.

Can I put the chatbot on a WordPress or Wix website? Yes. Copy the line from Front desk and paste it before the end of the page in your site's custom code area. Chats from both sites land in the same inbox.

What happens to the visitor's details? A visitor who leaves a name, phone or email becomes a customer in your CRM. Someone who wants work done goes on your pipeline as a deal.

Can my team answer instead of the bot? Yes. Pick You first, bot as backup or Only you in Front desk, or click Take over in any chat. Once someone on the team answers, the bot pauses in that chat.
