Content calendar software with client approvals built in
Short answer: Alori is building a content calendar where agencies plan each client's posts and pieces, then send the client a link to approve or comment, without a login. It is part of the client portal, coming soon, and you can join the waitlist at the bottom of this page. Today, you can already plan content as dated tasks and projects per client in Alori, and keep every client conversation in one inbox.
The problem: approvals buried in email
For a marketing agency or a creative studio, the content itself is the easy part. The hard part is everything around it:
- The calendar lives in a spreadsheet, the drafts in a shared drive, the feedback in email.
- A client approves a post in a reply three threads deep, and nobody sees it.
- A deadline slips because the approval never came, and nobody chased it.
- Each client needs a different view, so someone builds a new spreadsheet every month.
Content approval software fixes the back and forth, but it is one more tool with one more client list, separate from your CRM and your invoices.
How it will work in Alori (coming soon)
The content calendar will live in the client portal, on the same client records as your deals, projects and invoices. What we are building:
- One calendar per client. Each piece of content gets a date, a status and an owner.
- An approval link for the client. The client opens a link, sees what is planned, and approves or leaves a comment.
- Approvals you can see. Approved, waiting and changes-requested pieces stand out on the calendar.
- Reminders for late approvals. When a client has not answered, the team knows who to chase.
The details may change before launch. Joining the waitlist is the best way to tell us how your clients approve work.
What you can do in Alori today
You can already run a simple content calendar with live parts of Alori:
- A project per client. In Tasks, create a project for each client or campaign, with a lead, a target date and progress. Link its quotes and invoices to keep the money next to the work. See tasks.
- One task per piece of content. Add tasks with a due date, an assignee and a priority, written the way you would say it: "Draft March newsletter friday @Tom !high".
- A board by status. See tasks as a board with To do, Waiting, In progress and Done columns, and filter by project to see one client.
- Repeating content. Make a task repeat every week or every month, like a monthly newsletter, and the next one is created when you mark it done.
- Newsletters on a date. Write an email newsletter in Campaigns, send yourself a test, and schedule it for a day and time. You see opens and clicks after. See email campaigns.
- Client conversations in one thread. Send drafts and collect feedback by email from Conversations, with internal notes and @ mentions for your team. See conversations.
- Review meetings. Hold a recorded video meeting with the client, and Alori writes the transcript and a summary. See meetings.
- Team updates in Slack or Discord. Ask your bot, for example, "each time a deal is created, post it in our #sales channel on Slack".
Who it is for
- Marketing agencies planning content for many clients. See Alori for marketing agencies.
- Creative studios that need sign-off before anything goes out. See Alori for creative studios.
- PR agencies coordinating announcements with clients.
