Find your Intercom access token
Alori needs one key from Intercom to bring your help center over. Here's where to find it. It takes about two minutes, and you only do it once.
You need to be an admin of your Intercom workspace. If you're not, send this page to the person who is.
- Step 1 of 4
Open the Developer Hub
In Intercom, open Settings, then Integrations, then Developer Hub. The button below takes you straight there.
Settings › Integrations › Developer HubOpen the Developer Hub - Step 2 of 4
Create an app
Click New app. Name it Alori, pick your workspace, then click Create app. The app stays private to your workspace: nothing is published.

Copy your access token
In your new app, open Configure, then Authentication. Copy the Access token: one long line of letters and numbers.

Paste it in Alori
In Alori, open Import data, then Intercom. Paste the token, click Connect Intercom, then pick the help centers to bring over.

Keep your token safe
- Your token works like a password. Paste it only in Alori.
- To take Alori's access away, delete the app in the Developer Hub.
If it doesn't connect
- Copy the token again. It's one long line, so make sure you got all of it.
- Check that you made the app in the workspace that has your help center.
- Still stuck? Write to us in the chat on this page.
