Everything above, in detail: how it works, what it replaces and what it does not.

A Webflow alternative for service businesses: a website you change by asking

Short answer: Webflow is a visual website platform used mostly by designers and agencies, with a design canvas, a CMS, interactions, hosting and online stores. If you run a service business and every change to your site waits for a designer, Alori builds your website for you from your current one and ties it to the same all-in-one app as your customers, quotes and schedule. You change it by asking in plain words.

Who Webflow fits well

Webflow is a good fit when:

  • You, or the designer you hire, want pixel-level control on a design canvas, with interactions and animations.
  • Your site runs on a large CMS: a blog, case studies or listings, each with its own page template.
  • You sell products online, or your site needs many languages.
  • You are an agency that designs and hosts sites for clients.

Why service owners look for alternatives

For an IT firm, a cleaning company or an electrician, the website has one job: bring in requests. With a Webflow site:

  • Changes wait for your designer. Past a quick text edit, a new service page or section means working in the Designer, or paying someone who knows it.
  • Form entries sit in Webflow and in an email inbox. Someone copies each request into the CRM, then calls the person back.
  • Booking and website chat each need another app, with its own bill.
  • The site does not know your customers. Quotes, jobs and invoices live in other tools.

What Alori replaces, and what it does not

Alori replaces the website and the tools you plug into it:

  • A website built for you. Right after your app is created, Alori writes a home page plus Services, Contact and Get a quote pages, using your current site's wording, photos, logo and colors. Your first website uses no credits.
  • Changes in plain words. Type "add a page for our new service" or point at something in the preview. Check it with your real data, then click Publish. History undoes an update.
  • Forms that land in your CRM. A quote request on your site shows up on your deals pipeline as a new lead, with the customer made for you.
  • Booking on your pages. Paste one request in the chat and Alori adds a booking button to your home and contact pages. See online booking.
  • Website chat where your bot answers visitors and passes the chat to your team.
  • A help center your customers read on your site, in English and French.
  • Search basics. Every page goes in your sitemap, and with Google Search Console connected, you can ask Alori how your site does in Google.
  • More projects, your own domain. Add another site or app with its own address, like a landing page, on the same data. On the Business plan, each project can have its own domain, and you can hide the "Built with Alori" badge.

What it does not replace: a design canvas with pixel-level control and hand-built interactions and animations, CMS collections for a big blog or catalog, an online store, and languages beyond English and French. If your site is a design showcase, a content library or a store, Webflow stays the better fit.

How to switch

  1. Describe your business and paste your Webflow address. Alori reads your site and builds your app and your new website from it.
  2. Check the pages in the preview and ask for changes in your own words.
  3. Publish. Your new site goes live on its free Alori address, and your Webflow site stays up meanwhile.
  4. Move your domain when you are ready. On the Business plan, add the records Alori shows where you bought your domain, then click Check connection.

Not ready to move? Keep your Webflow site and send its forms to Alori: copy the Lead link from Connect leads in Alori, then in Webflow open Site settings › Apps & integrations › Webhooks, add a webhook with the Form submission trigger and paste the link. Each entry lands on your pipeline as a new lead. See the Webflow integration.

You can start on the free plan, no card needed: see pricing.

Questions

Another question? Ask it when you start.

For a service business that wants a site it can change without a designer, with requests, bookings and chats landing in its CRM, yes. For pixel-level design, rich interactions, a large CMS or an online store, Webflow stays the better fit.

Alori reads your current site and uses its wording, services, photos, logo and colors to build the new pages. It is a rebuild, not a copy: Webflow interactions and CMS items do not come over.

No. You say what you want, like "put our phone number at the top", or point at the thing you mean, and you see the change in the preview before you publish.

Yes, on the Business plan, for your website and every other project. Until then, your site runs on its free Alori address.
